Pay rate: $42 to $46/hr, depending on experience
The Paralegal plays a vital role in providing functional and operational support within the Office of General Counsel, which oversees legal, governance and compliance matters for the organization.
The person in this role must be able to interact with all members of the LSAC community, including executives, upper-level management, business partners and colleagues in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, calm, resourceful and efficient. This position requires a professional demeanor, sense of urgency, results-focus, strong technology competence and the ability to keep sensitive material and conversations strictly confidential. Expert level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making ability and attention to detail are equally important. Excellent organizational skills are required.

As a member of the legal team, the Paralegal, under the direction of the General Counsel and Manager of Legal Operations or his/her designee, will be responsible for a variety of legal projects and tasks. This person will also work closely with other department attorneys and be an integral part of the legal team. This role does not have people management responsibilities.
Position Type
This role is a full-time position with a standard work week of Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. ET. The position may require overtime or weekend work.
Work Environment
This job operates in a remote and professional office environment. Whether remote or in-office, this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, fax machines, and filing cabinets.

There is no travel expected for this position.
