Overview

LSAC is a not-for profit organization whose mission is to advance law and justice by supporting the learning journey from prelaw through practice.

 

Pay range: $24/hr to $26/hr depending on experience

 

 

The Test Security Associate will be responsible for various aspects of test security and quality control, under the direction of the Manager of Test Security.  The Associate will work in cooperation with others in the Office of Test Security to ensure that all aspects of quality control/compliance and test security initiatives are completed within budget and on schedule to assist in effective implementation of test security strategy.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of the Office of Test Security’s day-to-day procedures.
  • Perform the administrative work of the Office of Test Security to ensure all aspects of test security activities are completed within budget and on schedule.
  • Maintain the Test Security inbox, corresponding with candidates in a sensitive and timely manner.
  • Identify areas of efficiencies for test security process and assist in documenting them.
  • Assist in processing test taker violations and issuing applicable notification.
  • Asist in the administration of investigations regarding security incidents involving test takers.
  • Assist and engage in test security audits and test observations (announced and unannounced) throughout the year.
  • Represent LSAC’s Office of Test Security at industry conferences.
  • Assist in administering the score challenge process (QTSRB).
  • Coordinate special projects upon direction from the Manager of Test Security.
  • Assist and maintain reports to internal stakeholders of the Office of Test Security’s activities.
  • Able to travel up to 10% of the time, some weekends and weeknights expected.
  • Assist other departments within the Candidate Services boundary with phone support and test security escalations, some weekends and weeknights expected.

  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player as well as an individual contributor.
  • Bilingual skills a plus especially Mandarin
  • Fundamentals of cyber security
  • Fluency in social media

Education and Experience:

  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Two years’ experience in an office environment to include advanced experience on word processing, spreadsheets, and Power Point systems.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

 

Position Type

This is a non-exempt, full-time (37.5 hours per week) position. The LSAC standard business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. ET. The position may require overtime work.

 

Work Environment

This job operates in a remote and professional office environment. Whether remote or in-office, this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

 

Travel Requirements

Up to 10% of travel is required for this position. Some of the travel is international.
